UAT

UAT stands for “User Acceptance Testing.” It is a type of testing that is performed to verify that a software application or system meets the specified requirements and is ready for release to end users.

UAT is typically the final step in the software testing process, and is performed by the end users or stakeholders of the software. The goal of UAT is to ensure that the software meets the needs and expectations of the users, and that it is ready for production use.

During UAT, the users of the software will test it in a simulated production environment and provide feedback on its functionality and usability. Any issues or defects that are identified during UAT will be documented and addressed before the software is released.

UAT is an important step in the software development process, as it helps to ensure that the software is of high quality and meets the needs of the users. It is typically performed after functional testing and other types of testing have been completed.
